A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Mabruka Alfaidi, in the Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology. The Alfaidi Lab has a long-standing interest in vascular cell signaling and the impact of vascular molecular/ genetics mechanisms on phenotypic changes in the context of cardiopulmonary- vascular diseases. This individual will help design and conduct research within a specified field while receiving advanced training to enhance professional skills and research independence needed for pursuit of a career. Designs, evaluates experiments and interprets data. Develops new ideas that promote current research. Prepares and publishes scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator. Teach techniques to others, train, and supervise research staff and students.
